As a kid, I remember watching Walter Cronkite with a sense of awe. Here was the wise old man who heard everything and decided what we needed to know. Even as a kid I believed that his job was an extraordinary burden.
I wondered what it would be like, to know everything like Walter Cronkite did.
The reality today is that we do not have someone like Walter Cronkite to mediate between us and the news of the world.
There are days when I look at the Internet and wish that I could install a Cronkite Device, something that would help me make sense of it all.
