Last Post of 2008

I will be working on an art submission through the end of the year, so this will be the final post of 2008.

I took this photo two nights ago, after coming home from an evening of shooting. I was tired and cold. I got out of my car and looked up at the house. I was pretty annoyed when I saw how beautiful everything looked. I wanted to go to sleep. Nonetheless, I set up my camera and tripod and fired off one shot.

I knew before I took the shot that the scene reminded me of Japanese woodblock prints. When I processed the image, it was even more clear.
